The Outback 2014

Google Image search: Outback
Nine long years since I last stepped foot in a desert... last gazed across an endless horizon or stared at the star light night.  This short overland journey will reset the clock as I head to the Australian outback for the first time .  I will be joining Doug and Ruth for the first week of their 32-week adventure as they traverse Australia before heading North from Cape Town to London.
Our plan is travel to three of the four Corners (state boundaries) namely, Cameron Corner, Haddon Corner and Poeppel Corner.
Australian State Corners (Boundaries)
An early morning departure from Sydney on Saturday 5th April 2014 will have the convoy of two heading North to Bourke and eventually West towards the first corner.
I will be driving my newly acquired 2007 Prado with Doug & Ruth in their 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser 80-Series diesel.
